Canon RF 14-21mm f/1.4L USM Lens Coming in 2020. According to recent rumors, Canon is currently working on a new super RF-mount lens. This would be the L-series, Canon RF 14-21mm f/1.4L USM lens.
Canon’s L-series lenses known as more durable, incorporating dust-resistant and water-resistant rubber seal and contains optics of higher quality, with many lenses containing fluorite or ultra-low dispersion glass elements, ground aspherically.
EOS R ($2,299 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama) is the first camera to feature the RF lens mount with a 12-pin connection, flange back distance of 20mm and a wide 54mm mount diameter enabling even greater flexibility in lens design. See Canon RF Lens Roadmap 2018-2021.

According to latest rumors, Canon RF 14-21mm f/1.4L USM lens is currently in development and to be announced in 2020. This will be another “world first” type of lenses from Canon just like the amazing RF 28-70mm f/2 L USM.

Canon already has a patent filed for this bright wide-angle zoom lens. According to CR, this lens will likely be one of a couple of world’s first lenses coming for the RF mount next year. The source also said there will be a new crazy prime RF mount lens coming next year.
