As MFT uses know the Olympus PRO lenses are high-quality lenses that provide a higher optical quality than usual and they have a price to match. The first of the series is the 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO lens, while the 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO lens released later in 2014. Shortly after that, the 7-14mm f/2.8 PRO and 300mm f/4 PRO lenses became available, too.
With f/4 constant aperture at the 400mm tele end, the Olympus 150-400mm f/4.0 PRO lens will be an exciting product. Olympus could make it compatible with 1.4 teleconverter and this will make the lens have a reasonable size. These specs will make its price fit between $2,500 and $4,000. When mounted on Micro Four Thirds cameras, the Olympus 150-400mm PRO lens will offer a 35mm focal length equivalent of 300-800mm.
