Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III & G9 X Mark III Coming at CES 2019
Canon will probably refresh its compact cameras at the upcoming CES 2019 event in the beginning of January. The most likely products to be announced are the PowerShot G7 X Mark III and PowerShot G9 X Mark III.
Both cameras were rumored but Canon has different plans for Photokina 2018 and unveiled the company’s first full frame mirrorless camera; the Canon EOS R. So looks like plans for these premium compact cameras are postponed for early 2019.
According to the previous Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III specifications, the camera will feature a 24-megapixel 1-inch type sensor with 10fps burst. It will be powered by DIGIC 8 processor and record 4K movies @30fps. It will have 4K video recording, DPAF with slightly longer zoom range. More details about the Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III & G9 X Mark III cameras can be found below.
