Sony A9 Firmware Update Version 3.10 Released
Sony released a new firmware update version 3.10 for the Sony Alpha A9 mirrorless sports camera.
This upgrade adds support for the SEL400F28GM telephoto prime lens. Sony A9 Ver. 3.10 firmware improves the overall stability of the camera and also includes the updates introduced in Ver. 3.00.

- Support of “SEL400F28GM”
Adds a [Silent priority] option to the [Aperture Drive in AF] setting in the menu.
*Using the lens “SEL400F28GM”, when [Silent priority] is selected, the sound emitted by the aperture drive will be reduced. This is useful in shooting conditions where camera noise should be kept to a minimum. Note that Auto Focus may become slower when [Silent priority] is selected. - Other improvements
