Nikon Z6 & Z7 Full Frame Mirrorless Camera Rumors Recap

The Nikon Z6 full frame mirrorless camera will be a 24MP resolution model with high speed and low light performance. The Nikon Z7 will have the same high-resolution full-frame sensor as the D850 and come with 45MP resolution.

Nikon Z6 and Z7 Full Frame Mirrorless Camera and Lens Rumors
Nikon released four teasers for their upcoming full frame mirrorless camera system. You can watch all the video teasers in this post. The latest video teases the Nikon Z-NOCT-NIKKOR 52mm f/1.2 lens.
This will be the high-performance glass for the new Z-Nikkor series lens lineup. The first Z-mount lenses will be mainstream f4 zoom and 1.8 primes. A Z-NIKKOR 24-70mm f/4 and Z-NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8 lenses will be announced with a wide-angle prime Z-mount lens. This Nikon wide-angle lens could be Z-NIKKOR 24mm f/1.8 lens or Z-NIKKOR 28mm f/1.8 lens or Z-NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8 lens.
The high-performance Z-NOCT-NIKKOR 58mm f/0.95 bright prime lens is rumored to be announced with the Nikon Z6 and Nikon Z7 full frame mirrorless cameras on August 23rd or a later date.

- Two Nikon full-frame mirrorless cameras expected: one with 24-25MP and one with 45MP (48MP is also a possibility
- BSI sensors (supposed to be new gen/tech with advanced AF).
- 5-axis in-body stabilization
- 9fps
- Memory cards: XQD and CF Express
- EVF resolution: 3.6MP (I am not sure if this is MP or million dots).
- Very good video AF features.
- Video AF could be different for the two mirrorless models (the cheaper version may have less AF goodies).
- AF tracking ability of the 45MP version on par or better compared to the current Sony A7 models.
- Over 400 AF points, not sure about the exact number, it should be somewhere between 430-450. The AF is supposed to be very fast.
- The rear LCD screen is tiltable just like the Nikon D850.
- 8K listed in the technical specifications. It might be the 8k time-lapse just like the Nikon D850.
- 4K video.
