Canon is rumored to announce their upcoming EF 400mm f/2.8L IS III USM lens before the Photokina 2018 event which starts on September 26th.
The company already reported to announce at least two new “big white” super telephoto prime lenses ahead of Photokina 2018 in September. These two new “Big White” lenses is expected to be the version III of the current EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II and EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II.
Now the rumor mill confirms one of the two “big white lenses” and it is the Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L IS III USM. The second one is still unknown but expected to be a version III lens.
