We know Canon is working hard on the new EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM & EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III lenses. Both lenses to arrive in early June to replace the existing models.

Current EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II lens was announced in March 2010. We believe a successor model is on the horizon. It will definitely compete Nikon’s AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR lens ($2,796) and price of the new lens would be similar.

In addition, the new Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM lens will be announced soon in the next several weeks! Expect the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM lens arou d Photokina 2018. The price and release date for both lenses are not available yet.
