Meike has announced a new battery grip for the Sony A9 camera which is also compatible with the A7R III.

The grip comes with a wireless remote control and can be triggered 100m away. It can be used as a wireless shutter release and timer. The grip has a vertical shutter release to make things easier and using it can double the shooting time of your camera.

Meike battery grip for Sony A9 and A7RIII can hold two batteries and double as a remote control. Shipping will start from Frebruary and will cost $125 on Amazon.

The Meike MK-A9 Pro Battery Grip is designed to make vertical shooting more comfortable, and comes fitted with a shutter release, two custom buttons, an AF button, a joystick and two control wheels as well as its own on/off button.
