Canon EOS 7D Mark III will have slight crop in 4K videos
Canon EOS 7D Mark III will be the first APS-c sensor DSLR camera to record 4K videos. The rumor mill claims that the shooter will have a slight crop when shooting in 4K.
The 7D was succeeded by the Mark II at the end of 2014. Trusted sources are reporting that the flagship crop sensor camera is currently in the works, but release date postponed to Summer 2018.
Canon EOS 7D Mark III will feature better AF tracking as well as an improved video features. As for frame rates, do not expect anything more than 30fps in 4K, and 60fps in 1080P.

The EOS Mark II comes with a 20.2MP APS-C CMOS Sensor and DIGIC 6 Image Processor. The DSLR camera features a DPAF with 65-Point All Cross-Type Phase-Detect AF and 10fps burst mode. It has 3.0″ 1.04m-Dot Vari-Angle Touchscreen and the camera offers full HD 1080p Video Recording at 60 fps.

The Canon 7D Mark III announcement is set for March 2018 before the NAB Show. According to that the Canon 7D Mark III release date is scheduled for Summer of 2018.
