Three Canon Full Frame Mirrorless Cameras are on the Horizon
Canon is actively working on one new full frame mirrorless camera and it seems that there will be multiple models are in development.
According to recent reports, Theree new Canon full frame mirrorless cameras are in different stages of development.
The rumored Canon full frame mirrorless camera will use a new dedicated full frame CMOS sensor, NOT the image sensors from either the EOS 5D Mark IV or EOS 6D Mark II.
Three Canon Full Frame Mirrorless Cameras are coming
The first project is a Canon full-frame mirrorless with an EF mount, which seems likely because of the numerous Canon EF lenses out there. Second one is a smaller full-frame mirrorless with a modified mount, while the third one would have a fixed lens. The third one is claimed to be in its early stages and will NOT come in 2018.
As far as speculation goes, Photokina 2018 takes place next year around mid-September and, being the world’s largest digital imaging event. If Canon full frame mirrorless camera will be announced in this event, Photokina 2018 probably stay with this model in mind.
