Sony released firmware updates for FE 70-200mm & 100-400mm GM lenses
Sony released a new firmware update for the FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS and FE 100-400mm F4.5–5.6 GM OSS zoom lenses.
This upgrade improves the continuous autofocus (AF-C) performance while zooming for both lenses when they are attached to the Sony A9 camera.

The FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM features special coatings (Nano AR and fluorine), a floating focusing system for improved AF performance. The lens offers a minimum focusing distance of just 0.96m (~3.15ft), a SSM and dual linear motors.

Download FE 100-400mm F4.5–5.6 GM OSS lens Firmware Update Ver0.3
The FE 100-400mm F4.5–5.6 GM OSS is compatible with both the 1.4x (model SEL14TC) and 2.0x (model SEL20TC) teleconverters, allowing photographers and videographers to shoot at up to 800mm on full-frame cameras and approx.1200mm (35mm full-frame equivalent) on APS-C cameras.
