Cosina released the Voigtlander APO-MACRO LANTHAR 65mm f/2 lens for Sony full frame E-mount system cameras. This is one of the three lenses that were announced for development back in in February at the 2017 CP+ show.
Shipping of the Voigtlander APO-MACRO LANTHAR 65mm f/2 Aspherical E-mount lens will start on August 10th in Japan. The price for the lens in Europe is 999 Euros. The US price is not officially released yet (check here for updates).
The new lenses support the 5-axis image stabilization system and EXIF transmission to camera body. They are all manual focus with 1/3 step aperture selection. Voigtlander APO-Macro Lanthar 65mm f/2 E-mount lens sample images can be found here, here and here.
Voigtlander APO-MACRO LANTHAR 65mm f/2 Aspherical E-mount lens released
MACRO APO LANTHAR 65 mm F 2 Aspherical was exhibited as a product bearing the Voigtlander brand’s highest performance APO – LANTHAR inscription at Photokina 2016 which took place in Germany in 2016. The CP + 2017 reference exhibition model this time is spec for the product released at Photokina. We are changing the exterior design. As the macro lens F 2’s large aperture is the most bright lens as the full-size format interchangeable lens which is currently on the market, macro shooting making use of blurring taste is possible. The maximum shooting magnification is 1:20 the shortest shooting distance 31 cm) The focal length of 65 mm is also possible as a standard lens shooting and has the advantage of securing working dis tance compared with 50 mm standard macro lens. In addition, making full use of the brightness of F2, it is also suitable for portrait, high performance lens that can be used in various genres.
