Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28mm f/1.4E ED lens becomes official

Nikon announces the AF-S NIKKOR 28mm f/1.4E ED lens, a new addition to its line of f/1.4 primes.

The AF-S NIKKOR 28mm f/1.4E ED lens features nine rounded aperture blades, two ED and three aspherical elements, and Nano Crystal Coating to reduce ghost and flare. The optical construction of the lens consists of 14 elements in 11 groups. The lens is made of magnesium alloy and is sealed against dust and moisture.

Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28mm f/1.4E ED lens will be shipping in late June for $1999.95.
