The Nikon COOLPIX P900 is a compact digital camera that features an 83x Optical Zoom lens, low-light 16MP 1/2.3-inch-type CMOS sensor, built-in WiFi and more. The shooter quickly became a best-seller in its category.
Nikon alredy skipped its megazoom update last year. So, we are expecting that the successor model wil have a name P950 or Nikon P1000

With an 83x, 24-2000mm equivalent lens, the Nikon Coolpix P900 is the undisputed king of the superzooms. The camera has an advanced image stabilization system that offers 5 stops of shake reduction.
When it comes to the new bridge camera, it will be better than its predecessor. Trusted sources claims that it will feature a 125x optical zoom. Taking the crop factor into consideration, the lens will provide a focal range equivalent of approximately 24-3000mm.
The maximum aperture of the upcoming camera is unknown at the moment as it depends on the selected focal length. The P900 has a maximum aperture of f/2.8-6.3. There are no other details about the Nikon P900 replacement for now.
The rumor mill is predicting that the company will introduce the Nikon D7500 DSLR, two new lenses with AW130 and P900 replacement cameras on April 11.
