Canon PowerShot SX730 HS announced with 40x optical zoom lens
Canon has announced the PowerShot SX730 HS, a compact camera with a 40x optical zoom lens that will be perfect for travel photographers.
The new compact camera features a 20.3-megapixel 1/2.3-inch-type image sensor with a DIGIC 6 image processor. The device offers a 100-3200 ISO sensitivity range, as well as a shutter speed spanning from 15 seconds to 1/3200th of a second. Its specifications list also includes a 3-inch LCD screen that flips upward 180 degrees.
The Canon PowerShot SX730 HS comes in silver and black colors and will ship in June for $399.

The Canon PowerShot SX720 HS employs a 40x optical zoom lens with a full-frame focal length equivalent of 24-960mm. An Intelligent Imaging Stabilizing technology also comes in handy, as it can modify the exposure settings in order to provide blurry backgrounds, while keeping the subjects in focus.
