Canon is allegedly working on to add C-Log feature to the EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR camera via firmware update.
The new firmware including the C-Log is on the horizon and could be announced during the NAB 2017 in April 2017.
The C-Log means the Canon Log. This feature has not been introduced in any DSLR except the Canon EOS 1DC. According to videographers, the C-Log feature is “one of the nicest features in a Canon camera” and helps retain shadow and highlight information much more efficiently.
