Sony will allegedly announce the new budget-friendly FE 85mm lens in 2017. Although the diaphragm range of the lens is not known, the rumor mill indicates that this prime model will feature a maximum aperture of f/1.8.
The optic will be designed for Sony full-frame E-mount system cameras. It will be a companion product for the FE 50mm f/1.8 lens. Announced back in March 2016, this is an extremely compact, lightweight and affordable lens with a price for $248.
As we know that the next G Master lens will be the 16-35mm f/2.8 FE GM. This is the second lens that will join the party in 2017.
