Olympus has released new firmware updates on four of their mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras.
Olympus E-M1 updated to version 1.1, E-M5II to 2.3, E-M10II to 1.2 while the PEN-F gets the version 1.1 update.
With this upgrade all these Micro Four Thirds cameras now supports the Macro Flash STF-8 and Electronic Flash FL-900R units.
Olympus Released Firmware Updates for E-M1, E-M5II, E-M10II and PEN-F
The firmware can be updated using the OLYMPUS Digital Camera Updater.
Updates on the E-M1
- Macro Flash STF-8 is supported.
- Electronic Flash FL-900R is supported.
- Improved stability of exposure when shooting videos.
- Focus stacking function is now supported by the following lenses:
- M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 30mm F3.5 Macro
- M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 7-14mm F2.8 PRO
- M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 8mm F1.8 Fisheye PRO
- M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 300mm F4.0 IS PRO
Updates on the E-M5II
- Macro Flash STF-8 is supported.
- Electronic Flash FL-900R is supported.
- Improved stability of exposure when shooting videos.
Updates on the E-M10II
- Macro Flash STF-8 is supported.
- Electronic Flash FL-900R is supported.
- Improved stability of exposure when shooting videos.
