Panasonic G85 camera officially announced
Panasonic G85 officially announced at the Photokina 2016 event as a followup to the G7 camera.
The Lumix G85 is an SLR-style mid-range interchangeable lens mirrorless camera. It features 4K video capture, 2nd-generation 5-axis image stabilization and a 16MP sensor with no optical low pass filter.
The mirrorless camera uses a 16.0-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor and new Venus Engine. It has a sensitivity range from ISO 200-25600.

Panasonic G85 employs a 4K-ready 16MP AA-less filter and a new, improved shutter mechanism. The specs list includes a 9fps burst mode, 25,600 maximum ISO sensitivity. On the back side it has a 3-inch articulated LCD touchscreen, built-in electronic viewfinder, and an electronic shutter with a maximum speed of 1/16000th of a second.
It has a free-angle design to better enable working from high and low angles. Built-in Wi-Fi is also integrated which facilitates wireless image transferring and remote camera control from linked smartphones or tablets.
The Panasonic G85 will be available in the US for $899 body only and $999 with 12-60mm F3.5-5.6 Power O.I.S. kit lens.
