The rumor mill starts to talk about the Canon EOS 6D Mark II digital SLR camera. It is most likely the entry-level full-frame DSLR coming CP+ 2017 in February.
A lot of Canon users are asking for a possible replacement to the successful EOS 6D digital SLR camera. At Photokina 2016 event, the company unveiled the long-waited 5D Mark IV DSLR and EOS M5 mirrorless shooters.
We can say that there will be a successor to this model but it won’t be available to the market until the first quarter of 2017.
First Canon EOS 6D Mark II specs leaked
We have already mentioned that the Canon 6D Mark II announcement could be in early 2017. Because there were not enough time to launch another DSLR model in 2016. So a possible announcement will happen later and automatically postponed to early 2017.
The good thing is trusted sources leaked first EOS 6D Mark II specs. According to the prototypes it will have a 25MP sensor.

- Articulating LCD screen
- Dual Pixel AF
- Smaller in terms of weight and size
The DSLR is said to feature better specifications as well as a higher price tag. The 6D successor camera will be “Slightly” more professional and expensive. The current Canon EOS 6D has a price tag around $1,399.
Canon EOS 6D Mark II is said to be announced in the first quarter of 2017, probably at CP+ 2017 in February. Release date should be March/April timeframe.
