Sigma filed a patent in Japan. The new patent describes a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art lens designed for DSLR cameras with full-frame image sensors.
If becomes available in the market the new ART series Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM full-frame standard zoom lens will feature optical image stabilisation and a quiet “hypersonic” focus motor.
According to latest Sigma rumors, the company is actively working on 85mm f/1.4 Art, 24-70mm f/2.8 Art OS, 70-200mm f/2.8 OS Sport lenses. The new Sigma lenses expected to arrive in 2016 possibly at Photokina 2016 event.
