Olympus has officially announced the Stylus TG-870 and Stylus SH-3 compact cameras in Japan.
Both new Olympus compact cameras are replacing the previous versions, such as the Stylus TG-860 and the Stylus SH-2.
The Stylus SH-3 features 4K (15 fps) video and new art filters from the PEN series cameras. The specs list include 16MP, 1/2.3″ CMOS sensor, 25-600mm f/3-6.9 lens (35mm equivalent), RAW, 4k video. It has a 3″ TFT LCD screen with 460,000 dots, ISO: 125-6,400, shutter speed; 1/4-1/2,000, 16.5 fps, built-in Wi-Fi.
Olympus SH-3 will become available in silver and black colors in late February in Japan.
Olympus TG-870 and SH-3 Compact Cameras Becomes Official
The Stylus TG-870 is a tough camera and features 6 new art filters. The camera is waterproof to 15m and shockproof to a dropping height of 2.1m. The TG-870 specs list include a 16MP 1/2.3″ CMOS sensor, 21-105mm (35mm equivalent), 3″ TFT LCD screen with 920,000 dots, ISO: 125-6,400, shutter speed; 1/2-1/2,000.
Olympus will release the Stylus TG-870 on February 26 in white and green color variations. Price and international availability is unknown at the moment.
