Fujifilm X-T2 Camera Rumored to Feature 4K Video Recording
Fujifilm is rumored to announce several new cameras and lenses in 2016 and one of them is the X-T2 mirrorless model which is expected to be capable of recording videos at 4K resolution.
During an interview with the Fujifilm Managers Shugo Kiryu at French website Focus-Numerique, it is now confirmed that the upcoming Fujifilm X-T2 will definitely have 4K video recoding feature.
When we look at the previous rumors, we can also say that the Fuji X-T2 could also feature 120 fps video recording at 1080p resolution. The specs list might include improved continuous AF with 10fps shooting.
Fujifilm X-T2 Coming at Photokina 2016 with 4K Video Recording
The Fujifilm X-T2 will be unveiled two years after the X-T1 which was announced in January 2014. As a follow up to the first model it will a weather-sealed mirrorless camera. More buzz after the break!
On the other hand, during the interview Fujifilm Managers also confirmed that the flagship X-Pro2 is actually 4K capable, but they do not plan to add this feature via firmware upgrade.

We asked users of the X-Pro 1 if they used it for video and 80% of them said no. By cons, of course, you can make high quality videos FHD with the X-Pro 2. But according to our studies users do not expect 4K feature on the X-Pro 2. Technically, we could add this feature with a firmware update but we do not plan to do so in the future.

The announcement of the X-T2 was rumored before for June 2016 before the Photokina 2016 event in September. Looks like in 2016 Fuji will be more busy as the company already rumored to announce the XF 23mm f/2 wide-angle prime lens, along with a new XF 33mm f/1.0 and XF 200mm f/2 lenses as well as the highly anticipated Fujifilm X200 digital compact camera for Photokina 2016.
