Sigma filed a new patent in Japan. The new patent describes a Sigma 120-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports super telephoto lens designed for full-frame DSLRs.
Sigma already has the 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports lens announced back in Photokina 2014 and it is available on the market with a price tag for $1,799.
The current Sigma 150-600mm F/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports is aimed at professionals and is constructed from 24 lens elements in 16 groups also including two FLD and three SLD glass elements. The sports version is dust and splash-proof.
