Official Nikon D500 4K Sample Video
Nikon Europe has posted the official 4K sample video recorded with the new Nikon D500 DX-format digital SLR camera.
The short movie titled as ‘Exposure’ was filmed exclusively on the Nikon D500 by National Geographic photographer and filmmaker Keith Ladzinski. You can watch the video below.
Nikon D500 camera $1,999.95 – (Amazon | B&H | Adorama) features a 20.9-megapixel APS-C sensor that’s coupled with the new Expeed 5 image processor found in the D5. It also has the same 153-point AF system with 99 cross-type sensor and can able to shoot continuously at 10 fps with a 200 shot buffer for Raw images. The Nikon D500 can record 4K UHD (3840 × 2160)/30p/25p/24p as well as 1080/60p video for up to 29 min. 59 s¹, with simultaneous output via HDMI available. It is also possible to generate 4K UHD time-lapse movies within the camera. In Full HD or HD mode, the D500’s electronic Vibration Reduction function² reduces the effects of camera shake in the horizontal, vertical and rotational directions during hand-held movie recording, while Active D-Lighting preserves details in highlights and shadows to capture footage with natural brightness.
