Official Nikon D5 4K Sample Video
Nikon Europe has posted the official 4K sample video recorded with the new Nikon D5 FX-format digital SLR camera.
The 5-minute short film titled as ‘My Nebraska’ was filmed exclusively on the Nikon D5 and was directed by Nikon Ambassador Bill Frakes. You can watch the video below.

As the first Nikon DSLR to record high-definition 4K/UHD movies in-camera, the Nikon D5 hugely exceeds the movie-making flexibility of the D4S.
4K movies (3840×2160 pixels) can be recorded at 30p/25p/24p in dot-by-dot native pixel crop, which ensures the highest image quality. When shooting Full HD (1080p) video, you can record at frame rates up to 50p/60p in multiple sensor crop formats, including native Full HD pixel crop.
Nikon D5 specs list also include a 3.2-inch, 2.36-million-dot LCD touchscreen as well as a 100%-coverage viewfinder with 0.72x magnification. The camera’s body also packs a built-in 1000 Base-T 400MBps Ethernet connection for transferring your photos 1.5x faster than with the D4S.
