Fujifilm X-Pro2, X-E2S, X70, XP90 Cameras and XF 140-400mm f/4-5.6 R LM OIS WR Lens Coming on January 15, 2016
Fujifilm is ready to announce several new cameras and lenses on January 15, 2016.
The upcoming Fuji announcement will include the Fujifilm X-Pro2 flagship X-mount camera, the X-E2s mirrorless shooter, X70 and XP90 compact models and the XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens.
The new waterproof FinePix XP90 camera will be the replacement for the current XP80 rugged model. As a side note, the Fujifilm X-E2 ($799.99 – Amazon | B&H | Adorama) will also recieve a new firmware update version 4.0 on that day and expected to bring new AF system to the camera as mentioned earlier.

Fujifilm X-Pro2 flagship X-mount camera will feature 24.3-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor, built-in WiFi, 1/8000 shutter speed, 1/250 flash sync and dual SD card slots. Full specifications can be seen here.
Fujifilm X-E2s will be the new model to the X-E line-up. The mirrorless camera will feature 16-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor, built-in WiFi, 1/32000 shutter speed, up to 51200 ISO sensitivity and full HD video recording at 60fps. It is going to be a minor change over the previous model. Full specifications can be seen here.
On the other hand, the Fuji X70 will feature a 16-Megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor with a 18.5mm f/2.8 lens, a 180 degree flip touchscreen and 8fps continuous shooting speed. Full specifications can be seen here.
The announcement expected together with the XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens which would be a good companion for Fuji mirrorless cameras. The upcoming XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR super-telephoto lens will have a price around $1,800 and the release date is scheduled for sometime in March 2016.
