The long-waited Fuji XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens is rumored to become official in mid-January 2016 along with the Fujifilm X-Pro2 flagship X-mount mirrorless camera.
According to latest Fuji rumors, the upcoming XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR super-telephoto lens will have a price around $1,800 and the release date is scheduled for sometime in March 2016.
This lens is a real native candidate for Fuji photographers when considered that the X-mount has few super-telephoto lens options when compared to other mounts. More after the break!
Fuji To Announce XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR Lens in mid-January
The XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens would be a good companion for Fuji mirrorless cameras and the announcement expected together with the X-Pro2 camera.
As we’ve posted earlier the Company officially registered the name of the X-Pro2 in China for Wi-Fi purposes. This registration also means that the Fujifilm X-Pro2 camera announcement is getting closer.
It has been said that all current Fujinon lenses will be compatible with the Fujifilm X-Pro2. The X-Pro2 will be much smaller than the X-Pro1 which is currently selling for about $900
