First set of Canon 80D specifications has been leaked on the web.
According to latest Canon rumors, the upcoming 70D replacement will have a similar sensor as the entry-level 750D and 760D DSLRs.
The Canon 80D expected to feature 24.2MP APS-C CMOS Sensor. Image Processor is unknown at the moment. It can be Digic 6+ or 7. The specs list also include the 3.0″ Vari-Angle Touchscreen LCD Monitor, Full HD 1080p Video Capture, 49 Point AF System, Hybrid CMOS AF III, Built-In Wi-Fi Connectivity with NFC Continuous shooting rate of up to 8 fps.

The Canon 80D will be an APS-C camera and replace the current 70D DSLR model with a new sensor and updated Dual Pixel technology. Overall the specs below doesn’t mean a much upgrade over the previous model.
