Canon filed a new patent in Japan. The new patent describes a new CN-E 20-100mm f/2.8 and 20-130mm f/2.8-3.5 lenses for Cinema products.
Both Canon lenses are standart zoom models features maximum F2.8 aperture. The patent for the 20-130mm seems to share the same optical formula which has an aperture between f/2.8-3.5.
We can expect these new cinema lenses for this fall as the EOS C300 Mark II will start shipping.
