Even there is no additional specs for the Sigma full-frame lens we can say it will be designed for full-frame DSLRs as for the DG designation and the HSM refers to the the Hyper Sonic Motor equivalent to Canon USM and Nikon SWM technology. It is a ring-type ultrasonic motor designed to provide quick and silent focusing.
