Panasonic has registered several new cameras at the on the Wi-Fi Alliance . The list includes the already rumored Lumix G7, Lumix GX8, and the superzoom bridge camera Lumix FZ300.
This registration means that all these products will definitely come packed with built-in WiFi. On the other hand it is not clear if the upcoming Panasonic FZ300 will be a FZ1000 replacement or not.
Panasonic introduced the 4K video recording Lumix DMC-FZ1000 superzoom bridge camera in the middle of 2014. Now Panasonic will expand the FZ-series with a new fixed-lens camera model called FZ300.

Panasonic FZ300 Superzoom Camera Registered for WiFi certification
Panasonic FZ1000 features a 20.1 megapixel 1-inch MOS sensor, 16x optical zoom lens which has an F2.8-4.0 aperture range, 0.09 second auto-focusing speed, a 2,359k OLED Live View Finder (LVF) and a 3-inch 921-K dot LCD display.
The superzoom digital camera is a definite Sony RX10 competitor. We’ll see if the new FZ300 model will be a low or high-end model in the lineup.
Panasonic will hold a official product launch event on 18/19 May, 2015. The company will announce the Lumix DMC-G7 mirrorless model and the FZ300 should be announced along the G7 or shortly after probably in early Summer.
