Canon is rumored to announce a new entry-level Rebel camera which will be the replacement for the current SL1 and probable be named as “EOS Rebel SL2“.
According to latest Canon rumors, the upcoming EOS Rebel SL2 DSLR camera will be introduced sometime during the fall of 2015 with a 24-megapixel APS-C sensor.
The 24MP APS-c sensor on the Rebel SL2 is said to be the same as the recently released EOS Rebel T6i and EOS Rebel T6s models. More details after the break!
Canon Rebel SL2 / 150D DSLR Comera Coming This Fall
The rumor mill says that the Canon Rebel SL2 will be the world’s smallest and lightest DSLR camera in the world.
Here are the first details of Canon Rebel SL2 / EOS 150D
- Smaller and lighter than the current SL1
- EVF instead of OVF to reduce size
- Same 24MP sensor as Rebel T6i and T6s DSLRs
- To be announced this Fall
The Canon EOS 100D / Rebel SL1 features a 3″ ClearView II capacitive touchscreen, an 18-megapixel Hybrid CMOS AF II sensor and DIGIC 5 processor.
