5DS-R Review (vs Nikon D810, Canon 5D Mark III, Olympus E-M5 II)
From Northrup:
As the first in a series of tests of Canon’s 50 megapixel DSLR, we test a late beta version of the Canon 5DS-R in a studio environment using each company’s 70-200 lenses. We test both studio portraits and still life photos. For the still life photos, we used a remote trigger and mirror lockup to get the sharpest images possible.
50MP Canon EOS 5Ds and 5DS R DSLR cameras also features dual DIGIC 6 processors, a 61-point AF system with 41 cross-type points and a 150,000-pixel RGB+IR metering sensor with 252 zones. The EOS 5DS and 5DS R are capable of 1080/30p HD video recording and offer dual SD/CF card slots.
