Nikon D5500 Earned the Silver Award With a High Score
From Dpreview conclusion:
The D5500 is a compact, lightweight, and very competent DSLR. Its image quality is impressive, feature set is broad, and performance is strong. It’s not great for continuous Raw shooting and the lack of a second control dial may put off some enthusiasts, but overall the D5500 is well worth considering.
The Nikon D5500 features a 24.2 megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor with no optical low-pass filter. The DSLR comes with a full articulated touch screen and powered by an EXPEED 4 image processor. D5500 specs list also includes Full HD 1080p video with notable low-light sensitivity up to ISO 25600 and up to 5 fps.
