Fujifilm Adds Film Simulation to Raw File Converter EX 2.0
Fujifilm is to release a new version of its Raw File Converter EX on February 26th.
The update will bring the film simulation support to the Silkypix-based desktop software package. Initially, the new feature will be available for files shot with X-T1, X-A2, X100T, X30 and XQ2 cameras. Support for earlier X-series models will be added via a future software upgrade.
The new version of Raw File Converter will be available for download from 26th February 2015, and will be free.
Fujifilm announce a new free RAW file converter with Film Simulation support for X series cameras
Fujifilm Corporation is pleased to announce the launch of Film Simulation capable RAW conversion software “RAW FILE CONVERTER EX 2.0 powered by SILKYPIX (Ver.4.1.0.0)”. The software will be available to download for free from 26th February 2015.
“RAW FILE CONVERTER EX 2.0 powered by SILKYPIX (Ver.4.1.0.0)” allows users to convert RAW images taken on FUJIFILM X series cameras using Fujifilm’s renowned Film Simulation modes.

Fujifilm has also announced that it will make available a plug-in that will allow USB tethered shooting and exposure control for X-T1 owners who use Lightroom. Version 5.7 is required to use the plug-in.
