Sony A5 Full Frame Mirrorless Camera Rumored to Cost Under $1,000
Sony is rumored to be working on an affordable E-mount mirrorless camera which will possibly be named as the Alpha A5.
Sony Alpha A5 cheap full-frame mirrorless camera could be announced in the near future and priced under $1,000. The specs of the camera are yet unknown.
This is a low-rated rumor on SonyAlphaRumors and according to an unknown source, the FE-mount shooter will be priced at €799 / about $940. Sony A7 is the cheapest FE-mount camera which is currently selling for about $1,300 at Amazon.
First Rumors for the entry-level Sony A5 Full Frame Mirrorless Camera
Sony is also rumored to announce a new high-end A9 full-frame E-mount mirrorless camera in February. So the full-frame E-mount series will be updated with an entry-level (Sony A5) and a flagship (Sony A9) model.
The mirrorless E-mount Sony A9 full-frame camera is expected to be announced CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show 2015 in mid-February which will take place in Japan. No information about the Sony A5 release date at the moment.
