Rokinon / Samyang 12mm f/2.0 NCS CS lens is “Highly Recommend” from ePhotozine. Their full review of the new Samyang 12mm f/2 includes features, handling, performance of the lens with several sample and ISO test images.

ePhotozine recommends the new wide-angle lens and says “The Samyang 12mm f/2.0 is an excellent optic that produces images with excellent sharpness.” The closest equivalent in Micro Four Thirds mount is the Olympus 12mm f/2 lens, which costs around $700 and sports autofocus feature.

Rokinon 12mm f/2.0 NCS CS lens is a manual focus and aperture control wide-angle prime lens and offers an 18mm equivalent angle of view on cameras with APS-C sensors (19mm equiv on Canon EOS M), and 24mm equivalent on Micro Four Thirds.

Overall, this is an excellent optic that produces images with excellent sharpness, low distortion and low CA. Also, what makes this lens especially interesting is the low price of around £330, which is £170 less than the closest equivalent.
