Olympus released a new firmware update for the M. Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm F2.8 PRO wide-angle to portrait-length zoom lens that is compatible with the Micro Four Thirds system cameras.
Firmware version 1.1 for the Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO improves stability of the lens aperture when shooting videos. This is the only change in this upgrade.
The lens announced back in late 2013 and becomes the first PRO series in the lineup. Firmware details can be seen from here (Japan) and here (English).
