Canon Powershot G7 X Sensor Performance and Test Results
DxOMark published their test results for the 1-inch type sensor Canon PowerShot G7 X premium compact camera which is currently priced for $699.95 at Amazon.
Canon Powershot G7 X sensor test results shows the camera scored a point of 71 and this is an excellent score. The premium camera placed ahead of rival Nikon 1 models which are using the same size sensor.
DxOMark also says “the PowerShot G7 X ranks highly in our database rivaling classics such as the original full-frame Canon EOS 5D, the APS-C Nikon D300s and more modern designs such as the micro four thirds Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX7 and GM1.” See their conclusion below.
