Sony A99II announcement is previously scheduled for late August before the Photokina Show. Now, Sony may announce the development of A99II at Photokina and start selling the A-mount camera sometime at the beginning of 2015, sources say.
The A99 II will replace the A99 and will be a high-end full frame model. According to recent rumors we may see the camera’s specifications and may be a prototype display at Photokina 2014.
The camera’s proper launch event will take place sometime towards the end of 2014. Probably 2-3 months after Photokina.

Previous rumors mentions that the Sony A99 II will use the same 36MP image sensor used on the Sony A7r full frame mirrorless camera and will come packed with the fastest autofocus of the world.
Sony A99 Mark II A-mount camera is expected to be introduced along with the new Sony 24-105mm f/4 G standart zoom lens. Sony’s new zoom lens 24-105mm f/4 G, covering wide-angle to telephoto focal lengths will compete against the Sigma’s already a good performer 24-105mm f/4.0 DG OS HSM lens.
