Canon is rumored to announce three new compact cameras for the upcoming Photokina 2014 event. According to Japanese source Digicame-info, Canon will unveil its PowerShot G7 X, SX60 HS and N2 compact system cameras soon.

Previously the successor of the SX50 HS IS digital camera scheduled for Spring launch but it did not happen. It is said that there have been some production issues with the camera. Now the PowerShot model expected to arrive next week for Photokina.

Canon PowerShot SX60 HS IS is the most anticipated digital compact which could feature a 100x zoom lens covering a whooping 20-2000mm range. See previous specs below.
