Sony has filed patent for two new lenses with fixed focal lengths. The new patent refers to a 20mm and 28mm lenses designed for E-mount cameras with APS-C image sensors.
The 20mm f/2.8 and 28mm f/2.8 prime lenses are designed to be very compact and high speed autofocusing lenses.
According to patent details both lenses will be good for video recording and sure for still photography. Both the 20mm and 28mm versions will come packed with inner focusing.

Sony 20mm f/2.8 prime lens for E-mount cameras is currently selling with a price around $350. The 20mm could be the updated version of the current SEL-20F28 while the 28mm lens would a complete new entry.
