The rumored Olympus 9mm PRO-series lens to feature a maximum aperture of f/1.8 instead of f/2.8.
Previously Olympus is said to be working on a new 9mm f/2.8 “PRO” lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras. Now according to recent rumors Olympus will provide a wider aperture for the upcoming 9mm lens.
Olympus currently has the new 9mm f/8 fisheye lens which acts as a body-cap for Micro Four Thirds cameras. The new lens will offer a 35mm focal length equivalent of 18mm but a wider aperture of f/1.8
The Olympus 9mm f/1.8 PRO price said to be around 91,000 yen / $900. Olympus PRO lenses are high-quality lenses and sure has higher price tags.
