Sony is rumored to announce a new RX series compact camera with a curved full frame sensor.
The name of the camera previously said to be RX2 but According to recent rumors the upcoming RX series digital compact camera will be named as Sony Rx1s.
The upcoming Sony RX1s will be the world’s first consumer camera with a curved image sensor and feature a fixed 35mm f/1.8 lens. There are no details for the specs of the Sony Rx1s. But the rumor mill also mentiones that the Sony RX1s compact camera will come close to the Sony A7S mirrorless camera in terms of ISO sensitivity.

Sony Rx1s expected to be the first camera to be announced this summer with a fixed 35mm f/1.8 lens and a curved full frame image sensor which increases the lens performance.
Sony is rumored to announce new RX series cameras most likely around Photokina 2014 which will take place in September. As sources told that the new Sony RX cameras are under development and they will be announced in the following months.
