Previously the Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO lens is rumored to be announced at Photokina 2014 which will happen in September. Rumor mill is also speculating that the announcement could be in late 2014 too.
The price for the upcoming Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 lens previously rumored around $1,200 – $1,300 just like the 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 SWD lens. There is also a 1.4x teleconverter patent pending along with the 40-150mm f/2.8 lens.
The Olympus 7-14mm f/2.8 and 300mm f/4 PRO lenses are also the lenses to be added in the Olympus PRO-series. These lenses are rumored to be released in early 2015 too.
Olympus PRO series will be much stronger after the first 12-40 f/2.8 PRO lens. As we all know the new PRO series lenses are freezeproof, splashproof, and dustproof.
