Egami has discovered a new patent filed by Olympus in Japan. The new patent describes the Olympus 12-50mm f/2.8-4 lens for Micro Four Thirds system mirrorless cameras.
The patented Olympus lens is a faster version for the current 12-50mm f/3.5‑6.3 lens with a much more attractive f/2.8-4.0 aperture. The Olympus 12-50mm f/2.8-4 lens provides 24-100mm equivalent focal length in 35mm format and becomes a useful standart zoom lens for MFT cameras.
