More details are now available for the upcoming Sony A7s 4K full frame mirrorless camera. Sony A7s to be announced tomorrow on Sunday (April 6, 2014).
Sony A7s will not replace the current Sony A7 and A7r full frame mirrorless cameras. The new A7s will feature 4k video recording capabilities and 12 megapixel full frame sensor.
The 4K video camera could also feature the super fast hybrid AF system found on the A6000. The camera will probably have the same body design as Sony A7.

According to sources the A7s records 4K video using Sony’s XAVCs codec. XAVC S supports resolutions up to 3840 × 2160, uses MP4 as the container format, and uses either AAC or LPCM for the audio.
