Fujifilm has released a new firmware update for the Fujifilm XQ1 premium compact camera. Firmware version 1.10 for Fujifilm XQ1 is now available for download.

Fujifilm XQ1 firmware version 1.10 adds a “Suppressed Flash mode (where the flash does not fire even when the subject is poorly lit)” option to the flash menu.

The pocket-sized Fujifilm XQ1 features a newly developed features a 25-100mm (equivalent) F1.8-4.9 lens with optical image stabilization, with AF times as quick as 0.06 seconds, according to Fuji.
