Blackmagic Production Camera 4K Now Available for $3,000

Blackmagic Production Camera 4K, a Super-35 format, 4K-capable camera is now available for shipping with $1000 less than originally suggested.

Blackmagic Production Camera 4K price is $2,995.00 and available for pre-order now. The Blackmagic Production Camera 4K is built around a Super 35mm (roughly APS-C-sized) sensor and can shoot 4K and 1080p footage in Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) or Adobe CinemaDNG Raw formats, direct to SSD.

The Blackmagic Production Camera 4K features Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) and CinemaDNG raw file recording, timecoding, a 5″ LCD touchscreen, a built-in SSD recorder, 6G-SDI output, a Thunderbolt port, 1/4” jack mic/line inputs plus 12V to 30V DC input, a 3.5mm headphone socket and LANC remote control.
